The brief was to create a simple app to help Nokia feature phone users in China and India to learn english. The app needed to run on the Nokia Asha feature phone which was at the time the most popular type of device for their target audience. This app was to offer a free sample experience with the goal to sell further levels for progression. The main challenge for this project was the limitations involved in designing for a feature phone. However, a simple flat design approach allowed for a clean, crisp experience that remained on brand.
